For most teams in our competition, this week's games will be the final time in 2021 that players will wear there club's colours.
While teams in the 7's and 8's age groups will play through to the end of the season on Friday 3 December, only the top four teams in each competitive age group making their way into the finals series.
Townsville Junior Touch Football today released the finals series format for all age groups, which are determined by the current competition rules.
Under 7's & 8's
As these age divisions are non-competitive, all teams will play up to and including Friday 3 December. Teams that are unable to play on the final night of competition must inform their club by no later than 5pm Friday 26 November.
Development divisions (Under 9 Boys, 10 Boys, 12 Girls, 14 Girls, 15 Girls)
No semi finals will be played in the development divisions and teams will instead play an extra round game on Thursday 25 or Friday 26 November. The top two teams in each development division will contest a "Development Final" on Friday 3 December.
Under 10 Girls
Semi finals in the under 10 girls age group (the only pool-based competition due to large team numbers) will be contested between the first and second placed teams in both pools, in a crossover format that will see the first-placed team in Pool 1 take on the second-placed team in Pool 2, and vice-versa. The winners of each semi final will progress to the grand final on Friday 3 December.
All other age groups
The top four teams in all other age groups will progress through to the finals series. First will play fourth Semi Final 1, while Semi Final 2 will see second take on third, with the winners of both progressing to the grand final of their age group on Friday 3 December.
